If you are serious about breeding for ELITE fleece qualities, then quite honestly, "El Dorado Prospector" is THE herdsire that you should be looking to make it happen!

He is the son of "MFI Peruvian Providence", whose sire is "Peruvian Accoyo Titan", sire of champions & a truely prepotent male, setting new standards in the industry. Prospector's paternal grandmother, Primadonna D228 ALOA, is a daughter of Peruvian Mr. President, who sold for $155,000 at 11 years of age!

Prospector's dam is "El Dorado Zeena" a fawn Color Champion, who at 5 years of age, had an AFD of 21.1, & an SD of 3.5. Zeena is sired by "Peter The Great", who hails from both Accoyo and Allianza bloodlines. At 5 years of age, he sheared 13.9 lbs of fiber, with the following stats: AFD-21.9, SD-4.1, CV-18.9, 4.2% >30 microns.

Although it's really no surprise that at 2 years of age, Prospector is holding a 16.9 micron, with an SD of just 2.8, it's extremely exciting to me that it's absolutely not just a fluke. His sire, dam, maternal & paternal grandparents all possess the same elite fleece qualities & continue to produce off-spring with extremely fine, uniform fleeces, that maintain their elite fleece characteristics well into maturity! Do not hesitate to add these tried & true genetics to your herd!

Prospector`s services will be available at the price of $1,000 thru the spring of 2013, for drive-by breedings. Local mobile breedings are available (ask about price). Multiple breeding discounts available and are generous!

UPDATE: Prospector's 3rd year histogram is in & as we expected from these genetics, his micron has only increased 0.3...AFD-17.2, SD-3.0, CV-17.4%, Spin Finness-16.2, Fibers > 30 Microns-0.6%. That's a comfort factor of 99.4% at 3 years of age!!!
UPDATE: 4th year histogram results...20.3 AFD, 3.7 SD, 18.4% CV, 1.2% fibers >30 microns...98.8% comfort factor @ 4.5 years of age!!!
